Katrine K Paris Fashion Week Exclusive Fykaa Caan

The new Katrine K. SS 2019 collection presents you the spirit of sensuality. With it’s smooth lines, weightless forms, flowing fabrics and modest glow, “l’Esprit Sensuelle” strives to underline gracefulness of feminine forms and romantic summer vibes.

Combining different textures,  each piece of the collection is carefully designed to bring the most ethereal experience to women wearing it. Feminine and airy fabrics, relaxing and uplifting, a unique and romantic mix of chiffon, handcrafted embroidery and jersey. Elegant perfectly fitting corsets made of silk and leather are the delicate and yet seductive signature pieces of the l’Esprit Sensuelle.

The brand story-

“Profound beauty is a rare thing, profound vision is the rarest”.

People who can see the world in such a way are remarkable. They are the daytime dreamers and the creators of the original beauty that is breathtaking. Kate Kulishova is one of them, the inspirer and visionary of the Katrine K. brand. An architectural designer and a co-founder of the art gallery in Granada. She became a designer under the influence of her relative — a professor of the great architect LeCorbusier, who passed his knowledge and experience to Kate.

Kate’s architectural projects are characterised by the elegance and the consonance of classicism. Choosing perfectly fitting, elegant, beautiful and comfortable clothes.

In 2016 she established her own company in Monaco — a place of dreams where the luxury and traditions are whimsically intertwined with the moods of summer evenings in Monte Carlo. These dazzling shinings of parties together with the elegance and relaxedness of a tranquil holiday is the atmosphere implied in the images of Katrine K.

For implementing her dreams and values in the products of the brand, Kate was looking for a talented designer, with impeccable taste, experienced in high fashion, creative and aware of all the possible details of the sewing process. In 2018 Vlady Vyshnevetskiy joined the brand on the position of a Creative Director. A graduate of ESMOD, one of the most renowned fashion schools in Paris, Vlady has been living and working in the world of haute couture since 2010. Unique dresses created by him for Paco Rabanne were worn by fabulous Lady Gaga at Europe Music Awards in 2011.

The tandem of Kate and Vlady is the union of two unique creative flows, two individuals in love with the beauty of people. Kate is the soul of the brand, the author of the vision and the mood. Vlady is its heart, its CEO and Creative Director. Today Katrine K. is a brand of amazing and unique dresses made of natural fibers, which are making women feel significant, and the time spent wearing them — unforgettable. Perfect fitting, maximum comfort for the body, style and gracefulness of the products gradually framed the brand values: true class, true quality, true femininity.

This collections mood is ethereal like sunny days in Provence and elegant like evening lights of Monaco. Inspired by the iconic beauty of Princess Grace and weightless romanticism of Art Nouveau.

The main capsule of this collection consists of evening and cocktail dresses, with a couple of silk pant suits. These outfits are made of the high-quality natural materials, like dupioni silk, flowing cady silk, chiffon and shiny fabrics with lurex. All garments in collections are made of natural materials, caring both about inside feeling of the garment and the look of it. ‘Only natural’ is one of Katrine K’s important values.

Some garments have an extraordinary combination of materials – like chiffon, jersey and handcrafted embroidery. Mixed together, these fabrics look fresh, yet minimalistic. As always, most of the garments are handcrafted, with decoration and embroidery carefully made in the brand atelier.

The main colors are pine green, rich red, burgundy, ice blue, porcelain and everlasting black. These statement dresses are the best outfits for a red carpet, the loudest movie premiers and luxurious weddings. They speak for themselves, making women feel even more confident and beautiful.

Eternal classics, absolute femininity by Katrine K – is above the trends, determining the genuine class of modern female clothes. The quality and style of the young brand has already been assessed by stores and shoppers in Monaco, France, Spain, Italy, the UAE, and Hong Kong. Every day women in these countries may be inspired in discovering themselves and experiencing bright moments together with the magical dresses of the brand.

50 Years of Ralph Lauren

Celebrities and the fashion elite came together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ralph Lauren this month at New York Fashion Week.

The American fashion house marked its half-century by a hosting a fashion show and gala dinner seamlessly integrated against the backdrop of the Bethesda Terrace fountain in Manhattan’s Central Park, a homage to Mr Lauren’s hometown of New York City. Guests included David Lauren, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively, Steven Spielberg, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name a few.

In keeping with the philanthropy of the brand, the event benefited the Central Park Conservancy – a private, nonprofit organisation that relies on donations to prevent the decline of the world-renowned park.

Mr Lauren initially launched his eponymous label in 1967 aged 28. The lifestyle brand began as a collection of men’s ties, before developing into the first ‘Polo’ menswear collection in 1968. The womenswear was then later introduced in the 1970s. Today, the designer still acts as chief creative officer at the brand.
